Statement Press builds your statements inside your own browser. Your giving records and donor list are never sent to us or to anyone else.

Your giving records

The records you paste or open, and the statements made from them, stay on your device. They are not uploaded, and we cannot see them.

• The page loads no outside scripts, trackers, analytics or advertising.
• The page is delivered with a browser security rule (a Content Security Policy) that tells your browser not to let it connect to any server.
• Your records are held in the page's memory and are gone when you close or reload the tab. The one exception is the trip to the checkout: your records are set aside in that tab so they are still there when you come back, and removed as soon as you return or close the tab.

What is saved in your browser

So that you don't have to retype things, your browser stores your organization's details, your logo, and whether you have a pass. This is stored only in the browser you used. You can remove it at any time by clearing the site data for statementpress.com in your browser's settings.

We do not use cookies.

What we receive when you pay

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach us. Stripe shares with us the details of the payment: your name, email address, billing country and postal code, the amount, and the last four digits of the card. We use these to send your receipt, answer support requests, issue refunds and keep the financial records the law requires. Stripe's own handling of your information is described in the Stripe privacy policy.

If you email us

We keep your message and address so we can reply and keep a record of the conversation. Please don't email donor records to us. If we need an example to solve a problem, we'll ask you for a few made-up rows.

Our web host

The site is served by Netlify. Like every web host, it processes the technical details of each request, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver the pages and protect the service.

What we don't do

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers named above. We don't build profiles of visitors.

Your choices

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing jo at statementpress.com. We may need to keep payment records for tax and accounting purposes.

Children

Statement Press is a tool for organizations and is not directed at children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
